Two Years Journey
$2.99 – $13.99 Quick ViewTwo Years Journey
On February 16, 2014, a fellow elder quietly prayed for me: Lord, give my brother a new bone marrow. The next day, a Hematologist diagnosed that I had a bone marrow disease. This unbelievable news with no obvious sign or symptom was true. I had an aggressive acute Leukemia. Graphically, the Lord assured me, three times that I would be healed and the disease would not return (Nahum 1, 9).

Walking Closer
$5.99 Quick ViewWalking Closer
WALKING CLOSER is a thirty-one day, daily devotional book inspired by the realization that it is God who desires a closer walk with us. It is God who wants to spend more time with us than we realize. As His children, we do not have to work our spiritual fingers to the bone to earn His love. Through Jesus, our Savior, we have God's total love, grace, and mercy.
The devotionals are written from the heart and written for the regular person facing life's struggles. Regular, often broken people are who God uses to illustrate love, mercy, and forgiveness. These devotionals are simple, easy to understand, and use real life experiences to convey a message of love and hope.
God is chasing His children and wants to be a part of their daily lives. Let the adventure begin, for as His children, we are loved more than we could ever know.$5.99

Perpendicular
$6.99 Quick ViewPerpendicular
I must have read somewhere that art equals pain; reworked, revised, improved upon, but pain nonetheless. A means of expressing the anguish and innermost jot or fury of the one so impoverished. The perpetual flowing from a seemingly endless source of pathos.
A relentless well-spring of:
Guile and Guilt
Fervor and Splendor
Tremor and Hope
A truly cleansing and uplifting experience. If poetry can be considered art, then I offer my art for your perusal and publication.$6.99

The Streets Of LaGrange
$6.99 Quick ViewThe Streets Of LaGrange
For more than three decades Jimmy McPhail has listened with an ear of disbelief as minority victims and witnesses shared their stories. While the plot and the characters changed, the theme always remained the same. Themes of injustice, hatred and discrimination were the three most reoccurring themes. From verbal and physical abuse, workplace discrimination and even police brutality, the residents of LaGrange have seen it all. Some have been threatened, others beaten, and a few killed. For far too many years, these people have been the recipients of unfair and unjust treatment. Many of them are now dead and gone, yet their stories live on. The Streets of LaGrange is a compilation of their delicate and intricately woven stories.

In My Brother’s Shadow
$8.55 Quick ViewIn My Brother’s Shadow
I was under my brother’s age by nearly two years. His birthday is May of ’54, and mine is June of ’56. The moniker *ME TOO* came about since my uncle used to call me that because I was always trying to be just like my brother in everything. I started to beat him in basketball in junior high and high school. He was faster in shorter races, but I was faster in longer ones. That’s when we built a relay team that has between ten and twelve national records. After that, I got quicker in the smallest distance. I’m not sure why, but we ended up competing against each other more than our rivals. I lost a lot of scholarships for reasons I’m still not sure of, but even though we broke both the national mark at Madison Square Garden and the relay team record at Spectrum, our greatest accomplishment as a unit was Jesse Owens awarding us our medals at Spectrum. You had best have the Lord in your life because you will need God to help you with the decisions and choices you make. I was aware that tuition reimbursement was offered by Fortune 500 firms, so I know that no matter what happens in life, there is always hope for the best because of the Lord. That’s the only way I can survive. I am grateful, Jesus! After that, I create life-saving products for Johnson & Johnson and receive two patents for them. God is benevolent. I’m grateful, Jesus. One of the main reasons I wrote this book was after seeing a white police officer choke a black man for 10 minutes without cause; I make products that save lives, and here’s this white guy choking a black man for no apparent reason.
